Functional Lead for Salesforce & ServiceMax

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated Techno‑Functional Lead to drive the implementation, enhancement, and support of its field service management solutions using ServiceMax and Salesforce. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate service needs into scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, development and implementation of ServiceMax/Salesforce solutions.
• Gather business requirements and create technical specifications aligned with best practices.
• Configure ServiceMax modules (Work Orders, Entitlements, Installed Base, Preventive Maintenance, Dispatch Console) and develop customizations, workflows, validation rules and integrations.
• Conduct testing, support UAT and maintain technical and operational documentation, including runbooks.
• Deliver training, act as ServiceMax subject‑matter expert and support solution adoption across teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development within Architecture, Business Analysis and Managed Services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the field service domain with implementation of Salesforce or ServiceMax.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in field‑service intensive industries such as manufacturing, utilities or medical devices.

Required skills

• Salesforce platform architecture and development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
• ServiceMax tools (Service Flow Manager, Process Builder, Visual Workflow) and mobile app ServiceMax GO.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Database knowledge – Oracle, SQL Server.
