Scrum Master (All Genders)

About the role

Erste Digital, part of Erste Group, is hiring a Scrum Master in Bratislava within its Group Business Solutions unit, which delivers SAP-based IT solutions to Erste Group entities across Central and Eastern Europe. The role works closely with Product Owners and Solution Managers to support reliable operations and continuous improvement of the Finance Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives) so they have a clear purpose and lead to meaningful outcomes.
• Coach and develop the team, fostering self-management, shared ownership and cross-functionality.
• Remove impediments such as blockers, dependencies and conflicting priorities to improve delivery flow.
• Partner with the Product Owner and Solution Manager to improve backlog readiness, prioritisation and delivery transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement and Agile adoption across the team and wider organisation.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in product teams, with a strong practical understanding of the Scrum Guide, accountabilities, events, artifacts and commitments.
• Proven track record of improving team effectiveness, delivery predictability, transparency or delivery flow.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills, including building self-managing teams and resolving conflicts constructively.
• Ability to influence Product Owners, developers, stakeholders and management and promote Agile principles beyond ceremonies.
• Fluency in English is a must; occasional travel to Vienna is required.
• A Scrum Master certification (e.g. PSM I/II or CSM) is welcome but not strictly required.
