Requirements Engineer (German Speaking) - Agile & ITSM

About the role

Operational Services GmbH, part of Deutsche Telekom Systems Solutions Slovakia, is looking for a Requirements Engineer in Košice who speaks German professionally. The role analyses, refines and manages business and technical requirements across the delivery lifecycle, acting as the main link between requestors, Product Owners and development teams so that requirements are clear, prioritised, implemented, tested and delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse incoming business and technical requirements and refine them for completeness, feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
• Work with Product Owners to prioritise and manage requirements.
• Break requirements into work packages and user stories for sprint planning with development teams.
• Act as the main contact for requestors and stakeholders on requirements.
• Coordinate testing with business stakeholders so delivered solutions meet expectations.
• Maintain requirements in the Kanban board with end-to-end traceability.
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support analysis, refinement and documentation.
• Facilitate communication between business and development teams and support agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM products, especially ITSMSMAX and Operations Orchestration (OO).
• Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work with business stakeholders, Product Owners and technical teams.
• Professional business-level German; English is a plus.

Required skills

• Preferred: 1+ year in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban, and familiarity with backlog and sprint planning.
• Preferred: experience with AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, basic SDLC and testing knowledge.
