Process Specialist

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for a Process Specialist in Bratislava to join its Processes & Standards team within Operational Effectiveness & Governance. The specialist produces, maintains and improves process documentation across assigned business areas, working with Process Experts, Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts so that processes, standards, guidelines, SOPs and work instructions stay accurate and aligned with approved business practice. The role is a temporary maternity cover contract of 2 years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain business process documentation across all levels (L1-L6), including process maps, SOPs, work instructions and guidelines.
• Maintain version control and documentation repositories, and support regular documentation reviews.
• Perform quality checks, coordinate review and approval with Process Owners and stakeholders, track documentation status and approvals, and help maintain documentation inventories and audit evidence.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to capture business knowledge, support workshops and interviews, and document changes from transformation initiatives or regulatory updates.
• Support training materials for the Operations Academy, onboarding content, attendance tracking and learning feedback.
• Identify improvements to documentation quality and recommend enhancements to templates, standards and tools.

Required profile

• Experience in process documentation, business analysis, operational excellence or business operations.
• Experience creating process maps, SOPs, work instructions or operational documentation.
• Good understanding of documentation governance and version control principles.
• Strong attention to detail, good written communication and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders across functions and geographies.

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of 1,800 to 3,000 EUR per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and requirements.
