Principal Fullstack Developer

About the role

ENJOY Gaming is seeking a Principal Fullstack Developer to lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end game features. You will own both the high‑performance game client and the scalable backend infrastructure, translating creative vision into robust, secure, and performant code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complete game features, integrating server‑side services with client‑side gameplay and UI logic.
• Build a flexible, modular backend that serves data efficiently to multiple game clients.
• Optimize performance across the stack, balancing server load, database queries, client memory usage, and frame‑rate stability.
• Implement real‑time observability, logging, and crash reporting to track user journeys from client actions to server responses.
• Monitor system health, detect and resolve cross‑domain issues, and ensure proactive quality assurance.
• Apply end‑to‑end security protocols, anti‑cheat mechanisms, and exploit prevention to protect user data and game integrity.
• Act as the technical bridge between UI/UX designers, game designers, and engineering leadership.
• Mentor developers in modern client‑side and backend techniques, fostering high‑quality code and ownership.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering APIs, server infrastructure, and engine integration.
• Scope features during sprints, aligning technical requirements with business goals.
