Mechanical Design Engineer – Hydraulics

About the role

Join the R&D team at Danfoss Power Solutions in Považská Bystrica and contribute to the development and improvement of hydraulic manifolds used worldwide in construction, agricultural and other machines.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D CAD drawings and technical documentation, work in PLM and SAP systems, and generate orders for prototypes and PPAP parts.
• Support existing product changes, communicate with suppliers, and provide technical support for serial production.
• Develop and optimise new hydraulic manifolds, maintain documentation, collaborate with CAE analysts for FEM and CFD analyses, and support testing and qualification of new products.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities and assist procurement during product introductions.

Required profile

• Technical or mechanical engineering education.
• Independent, responsible work approach with a desire to propose new solutions and work in a team.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (2D/3D).
• Experience with PLM and SAP systems.
• Knowledge of FEM and CFD analysis processes.
