Manager, AI Governance and Security

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Manager, AI Governance and Security to lead the implementation of AI risk management across its product portfolio. The role sits within the Chief AI Office and works to ensure that AI technologies are deployed responsibly, securely, and in line with internal standards and global regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalize AI governance policies, standards and control frameworks across AI platforms and AI‑enabled applications.
• Drive AI risk assessments, security reviews and governance activities throughout the AI development lifecycle.
• Coordinate AI governance processes, including model inventories, risk registers, control assessments and approval workflows.
• Partner with AI Security, AI Privacy, engineering, legal and business teams to embed trust and safety capabilities.
• Translate policy and governance requirements into practical operational processes and support compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Technology professional with experience implementing governance processes, operational controls and risk‑based practices across enterprise technology and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging AI security, governance and regulatory considerations.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across engineering, security, legal, privacy and business functions.
• Passion for responsible AI innovation and a belief that trustworthy AI is built through effective governance.
