Legal Specialist / Attorney 1

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence, is looking for a highly experienced legal professional to support its corporate legal department in Bratislava. The role covers complex legal, compliance, governance, litigation and contracting matters, with strong expertise in contract drafting, corporate governance, intellectual property, legal research and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and negotiate commercial and legal agreements, advise on contractual risks and compliance, and act as the main contact for contract-related enquiries
• Support litigation matters, including legal research, correspondence, witness coordination, document management and liaison with external counsel
• Maintain corporate governance records, subsidiary documentation, minute books, board consents, annual filings and corporate records
• Manage intellectual property portfolios (trademarks, trade names, domain names, applications and renewals)
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with Paralegal Certification
• Significant experience supporting in-house legal teams in a corporate environment
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences or healthcare is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to handle several high-priority matters at once

The potential base pay range is EUR 32,200 to EUR 48,400 per year, depending on qualifications, location and schedule; incentives, bonuses and other benefits may also apply.
