Implementation Engineer Junior

About the role

Binary Confidence is looking for a passionate junior professional to join its network and security team. You will work on real‑world projects, learning from experienced engineers while contributing to the protection of data and digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain network devices such as firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Perform change management, keep network documentation up to date, and monitor network health and performance.
• Install physical infrastructure, including rack mounting and cabling, and support data‑center nodes.
• Create and resolve tickets, collaborate with vendors, and assist clients in designing and implementing network and security solutions.
• Deploy and manage security tools, contribute to process improvements and automation.

Required profile

• Team player with a strong desire to learn and grow in IT and cybersecurity.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, reliable and responsible.
• Basic English proficiency (B2 level) and a degree in Information Technology.

Required skills

• L2/L3 networking, routing, VLAN, ACL, VPN, wireless networking.
• Firewall policy configuration and network segmentation.
• Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and change management.
• Documentation of network topologies and CMDB entries.
• Automation or scripting (advantage), familiarity with security frameworks and SOC operations (advantage).
