Infrastructure Engineer – Telecom

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support AT&T's ANT and Open Tool platforms used for telecom network testing, validation, performance monitoring, and analytics. The role covers physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability and security across development, testing and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain server, storage and network infrastructure for ANT and Open Tool platforms.
• Manage physical, virtual and cloud‑based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure high availability and performance.
• Build and maintain LTE, 5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi and IMS test labs, including integration of test tools and probes.
• Administer VMware, Hyper‑V, Linux and Windows servers, and optimize compute resources.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing and firewall policies.
• Implement storage (SAN/NAS) and backup/disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Deploy monitoring systems, set alerts, perform root‑cause analysis and support incident resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Electronics or related field.
• Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure in telecom or similar high‑performance environments.

Required skills

• Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper‑V.
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, firewall administration.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud.
• Storage: SAN/NAS, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, ELK Stack.
• Automation/scripting: Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform.
