Head of Department – ServiceNow Platform & Delivery

About the role

Join Erste Digital to shape the future of financial services by leading the ServiceNow Platform & Delivery department. You will be responsible for the strategic and technical evolution of a critical enterprise platform that supports ITSM, security, risk, and operational resilience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring reliability, scalability and sustainability.
• Drive an agile way of working, providing clear ownership, transparency and predictable delivery.
• Establish platform governance, architecture standards, integration, testing, release and upgrade processes.
• Own and evolve CMDB governance and policies, supporting ITSM and broader ServiceNow capabilities.
• Lead and develop Product Owners, manage external partners, and oversee budget, licences and capacity planning.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical, engineering or IT‑related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven people‑leadership experience in a complex enterprise environment, preferably with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of the full software lifecycle from requirements to production operations.
• Experience managing major vendors, consulting firms and implementation partners.
