German-Speaking OpenText SM9 Senior Software Developer

About the role

Operational Services GmbH, part of Deutsche Telekom Systems Solutions Slovakia, is looking for a German-speaking Senior Software Developer for its OpenText Service Manager (SM9) projects in Košice. The team is English and German speaking and works on IT service management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and requests and create or review technical solution designs.
• Customize and enhance OpenText Service Manager (SM9) solutions, including software redesign and code optimization.
• Implement OpenText ITSM tool suites and support architecture planning.
• Develop, migrate and maintain workflows and service management processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine business requirements.
• Support Incident and Problem Management activities within the ITSM environment.
• Deploy enhancements and fixes to test and production environments.
• Take part in major release activities, including up to four annual releases.

Required profile

• Professional working proficiency in German for stakeholder communication and Scrum ceremonies.
• Ability to work independently and within Agile/Scrum teams.
• English is a nice-to-have.

Required skills

• Experience developing and customizing OpenText Service Manager (SM9).
• Good knowledge of JavaScript.
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Enterprise Service Management (ESM).
• ITIL Foundation v4 certification is preferred.
