Finance Governance & Compliance Expert

About the role

As a Senior Finance Governance & Compliance Expert you will shape and safeguard the financial foundation of LEONI worldwide. You will define global finance standards, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across all legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Define, manage and ensure compliance with global finance guidelines, processes and work instructions.
• Design and maintain the global chart of accounts aligned with group reporting and statutory requirements.
• Conduct financial reviews at legal‑entity level to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
• Drive planning and approval of statutory financial statements and entity budgets.
• Improve quality, efficiency and standardisation of global finance operations.
• Act as central contact, providing training and guidance on finance topics worldwide.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate, standardised data.

Required profile

• Education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Extensive experience in financial governance, accounting or controlling in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP principles.
• Proactive analytical mindset with ability to identify risks and optimisation opportunities.
• Fluent English (minimum B2); additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, consolidation tools).
