Data Engineer – Microsoft Azure

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Data Engineer who thrives on solving complex data challenges in a dynamic cloud environment. You will design, build, and maintain modern, scalable data pipelines on Microsoft Azure, turning raw data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Services (Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, ADF).
• Handle both streaming and batch data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Design solutions with security, scalability, and data‑retention requirements in mind.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build cloud‑native BI solutions that enable real‑time insights and decision‑making.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data modeling, relational and non‑relational data workloads.
• Strong understanding of transactional vs analytical data processing.
• Fluent in SQL (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and comfortable with data engineering concepts.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure stack: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• SQL programming (PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Data modeling and ETL design.
