Business Development Manager for IT Services

About the role

The UGS-IT Business Development Manager is part of the UGS-IT management team, working closely with the Head of IT. The role focuses on maintaining client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and keeping the IT service unit competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and nurture existing IT business connections and provide top‑level client care.
• Collaborate with Delivery Leads and People teams on planning and staffing.
• Develop new IT business opportunities within and outside the UNIQA group.
• Monitor market‑relevant technologies to keep UGS‑IT services competitive.
• Ensure staff skills and technology are aligned with foreseeable market demands.
• Contribute to strengthening and optimizing the UGS‑IT organizational setup.
• Report business dynamics to superior entities and within UGS‑IT.

Required profile

• Experience in IT business development or related management roles.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work closely with delivery and people teams on staffing and planning.
