Business Controller – Contract Logistics (Topoľčany)

About the role

DP World is launching a new Contract Logistics site in Topoľčany, Slovakia. As the Business Controller you will shape the financial foundation of the site, providing insight and discipline to drive profitable growth and operational excellence from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting and controlling activities across the site to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Monitor key business and financial indicators, presenting performance transparently to site management and stakeholders.
• Identify budget deviations and emerging financial risks early, enabling corrective actions.
• Develop and operate management information systems that deliver reliable, actionable insights.
• Lead the risk‑management process, coordinating identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting.
• Plan and control budgets, forecasts, cost‑centers, investments and overall financial performance.
• Support site leadership as a trusted financial partner, providing critical analysis and practical recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in finance, controlling or business analysis, preferably in logistics or contract logistics.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, performance management and management reporting in an asset‑intensive, service‑based environment.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; additional European languages, especially German, are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Practical experience with SAP or a comparable ERP/financial‑management system.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of €31,454 – €45,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
