Assembly Process Engineer – Exterior & Lighting

About the role

Join OPmobility’s Exterior and Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia as an Assembly Process Engineer. You will be responsible for defining, validating and commissioning assembly equipment that supports the production of exterior and lighting modules for the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

• Define specifications for equipment RFQs together with manufacturing engineers.
• Support the purchasing department during the RFQ phase and analyse supplier proposals.
• Prepare technical syntheses to aid supplier selection.
• Lead technical follow‑up, design validation and build validation once a supplier is chosen.
• Organise commissioning, final tuning and training of plant personnel.
• Collect technical documentation and capture lessons learned at project completion.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical or engineering field, preferably mechanics.
• Minimum 5 years experience with assembly equipment, either as a plant engineer or production/process engineer.
• Active command of English; additional language is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel.
