Process Quality Engineer

About the role

The Process Quality Engineer position is located in the Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia. You will be responsible for solving and coordinating internal quality complaints, addressing production quality issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Solve and coordinate internal quality complaints and production quality issues, including root‑cause identification and corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyse production defects, especially in the assembly area, and support systematic resolution.
• Coordinate and evaluate production tests and trials, including validation and technical tests.
• Assess test and trial results against defined requirements and track their timely completion.
• Collaborate with assembly, injection molding, painting, process engineering and other teams to resolve quality issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and support implementation of new solutions.
• Support the quality team in maintaining required quality levels in serial production.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
• Previous experience in quality or manufacturing within the automotive industry.
• Basic knowledge of quality management principles and problem‑solving in manufacturing.
• Ability to work with technical test results and evaluate them against defined requirements.
• Strong analytical and practical problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in Slovak or Czech and a good command of English.
