Tax Technology Specialist

About the role

As a Tax Technology Specialist you will join the EMEA Tax team to enhance tax operations through technology, process documentation, and automation. You will work closely with IT, SAP partners and business stakeholders to translate tax requirements into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Map and analyse tax business processes across EMEA and identify automation opportunities.
• Lead tax‑related IT projects from initiation to delivery, acting as liaison between IT, SAP S/4HANA teams and business owners.
• Develop and maintain the tax technology roadmap and ensure alignment with the global tax function.
• Improve data consistency for external tax reporting and maintain tax technology tools.
• Design and deliver training on tax technology solutions for the EMEA tax team.
• Document processes, technologies and interfaces to ensure auditability and continuity.
• Promote adoption of automation tools such as Power Automate, SAP tax modules, PowerQuery, Alteryx and Power BI.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in tax process optimisation.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP tax modules.
