Senior DevOps Engineer – T Cloud Public (Sign‑on Bonus €3000)

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the T Cloud Public Marketplace team, you will own and evolve the core cloud infrastructure that powers Deutsche Telekom's key product. You will work closely with development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated solutions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and manage the IaC foundation using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for rapid and reliable deployments.
• Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot complex Kubernetes workloads, including Helm charts, sidecars and batch jobs.
• Implement security controls, replication strategies and monitoring to meet Deutsche Telekom compliance standards.
• Collaborate with developers to optimise Dockerfiles, runtimes and cloud‑native application configurations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience in a cloud‑native environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform and Terragrunt for production‑grade infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes API, object model and Helm packaging.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python or Go.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, Git and agile teamwork.
