Java Developer – FinTech (Mid/Senior)

About the role

Join a leading FinTech consultancy to design and implement Java SE/EE and Spring Boot solutions that keep modern banks operating smoothly. You will work on long‑term, high‑impact projects for top‑tier financial institutions across Western Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop RESTful API microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Maven and OpenAPI 3.
• Write comprehensive unit tests to guarantee code reliability.
• Provide guidance on best‑practice implementation and share knowledge within the team.
• Handle key configuration tasks to ensure solutions are stable, optimized and aligned with client requirements.
• Analyse change requests and defects, turning them into opportunities for system improvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building Java‑based microservices for financial services.
• Strong understanding of core Java concepts and object‑oriented design.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a hybrid (office/remote) setting.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and contribute to a supportive team culture.
