Finance Specialist (AP/AR)

About the role

Synpulse is looking for an experienced Finance Specialist to join its Slovakia operations. The role focuses on managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, while also providing support for payroll and general accounting tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial transactions and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports in NetSuite, ensuring proper documentation and timely payments.
• Serve as the primary contact for AP‑related inquiries and manage intercompany invoice reviews and payments.
• Handle accounts receivable duties, including creation and distribution of intercompany invoices and client billing.
• Record and reconcile bank statements, credit card receipts, and business travel documents.
• Monitor accounting‑related emails, triage issues, and provide ad‑hoc support to team members.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience with exposure to both AP and AR processes.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in Slovak and English.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NetSuite accounting software.
