DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Košice)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Košice. The role is full‑time and hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Automate deployments and integrations with scripting and programming.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and improve reliability.
• Document solutions and follow best practices for security and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, Java).
• CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
