Azure Systems Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Systems Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of scalable, secure, cost‑efficient, and AI‑ready cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role will shape Azure hosting patterns, networking, security, and platform integration standards while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to build a robust Azure foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise Azure architecture, including landing zones, subscription strategy, networking, identity, governance, and security.
• Design reusable cloud patterns for APIs, micro‑services, containerized workloads, serverless functions, and data integrations.
• Architect Azure Kubernetes Service environments, service mesh, workload identity, secrets management, and observability.
• Establish secure hub‑and‑spoke networking, private endpoints, firewalls, DNS, and API gateways.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, including reusable modules and policy‑as‑code.
• Set DevOps and CI/CD standards covering branching strategies, pipelines, quality gates, security scanning, and automated testing.
• Promote modern engineering practices with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and AI‑assisted delivery tools.
• Design and deliver AI‑enabled solutions using Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and governing large‑scale Azure environments.
• Strong background in cloud security, networking, and governance.
• Hands‑on expertise with container platforms and Kubernetes on Azure.
• Experience leading DevOps transformations and implementing IaC.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services and AI‑first solution patterns.
