Web & App Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Web & App Development Manager to coordinate the creation, development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Insignia Group’s portfolio of websites and mobile applications. The role acts as the main link between business teams and external development suppliers, ensuring projects meet quality, budget and timetable requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business units to define website and mobile app requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Prepare project briefs, scopes of work and requests for proposals, and manage supplier selection and negotiations.
• Coordinate the development lifecycle from concept through design, testing, launch and post‑launch support.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage project budgets, timelines and risks, and ensure proper testing before release.
• Oversee maintenance, updates, performance, security and availability of existing digital assets.
• Review invoices and payment schedules, confirming milestones are met before authorising payments.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in web development, mobile application development, digital product management, IT project management or technology vendor management.
• Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle and ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Proven track record of selecting, negotiating with and managing external development suppliers.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
