IT Desktop Support Technician – Onsite (Tranava, Slovakia)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to deliver on‑site infrastructure support in Tranava, Slovakia. The role focuses on troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while maintaining warranty and security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desk‑side support and PC break/fix, including basic administration of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Perform smart‑hand activities for networking hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls and cabling.
• Manage tickets using ServiceNow or Remedy and conduct repeat‑call analysis to develop preventive actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on IT infrastructure field support experience.
• Associate degree in Electronics or related field and CompTIA A+ certification (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Physical ability to lift equipment up to 50 lb and flexibility to work varied schedules.
