About the role

The Manufacturing Technologist will lead the operational management of a production line, ensuring technical readiness of machinery, adherence to budget, and optimal use of personnel resources.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the installation team, plan attendance, and participate in recruitment.
• Monitor and achieve targets such as equipment downtime, setup times, and productivity, and propose adjustments to time‑tracking and bonus systems.
• Oversee tool maintenance, preventive replacement, and ensure continuous availability of production equipment.
• Implement and update installation procedures, supervise compliance, and support the introduction of new products into series production.
• Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with production engineering and conduct TPM activities.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Practical experience in machining, forming, assembly, surface treatment, automation, and robotics is preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational safety, ergonomics, and statistical process control (e.g., Six Sigma).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outlook, SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology and TPM concepts.
