Valuation Manager – Treasury & Financial Risk Management

About the role

Our Treasury & Financial Risk Management team at PwC in Bratislava is seeking an experienced Valuation Manager to lead complex valuation projects and help shape the future of our advisory services. You will work on business valuations, impairment testing, purchase price allocation and a range of financial instrument valuations for both local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver business valuation, impairment testing and purchase price allocation engagements.
• Challenge financial models, assumptions and valuation methodologies.
• Apply valuation techniques such as DCF, market approach and option pricing models.
• Support audit teams on valuation, financial instruments and treasury matters.
• Collaborate with PwC offices abroad on cross‑border projects.
• Perform valuations of derivatives, debt securities, options, shares and other assets.
• Translate complex valuation and risk topics into clear client insights.
• Coach junior colleagues and contribute to the growth of the valuation and treasury offering.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading valuation projects, including business valuations and impairment testing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to critique financial models and assumptions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
