Technical Application Manager & Software Developer – Investment & Insurance

About the role

Join Erste Digital’s Investment & Insurance Experience team to shape digital solutions that improve the financial health of millions. You will take end‑to‑end technical ownership of key applications while actively developing new features.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical end‑to‑end responsibility for Invest Manager and Insurance applications.
• Develop and enhance solutions using Java/Spring Boot.NET, React and Angular.
• Design, evolve and maintain APIs, micro‑services, event‑driven architectures and Kafka integrations.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across development, testing, architecture and infrastructure teams.
• Drive technical improvements, address risks and promote AI‑assisted development where valuable.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on mindset with willingness to own the full application lifecycle.
• Structured, pragmatic, solution‑oriented working style.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
