Software Developer – Investment & Insurance Experience

About the role

Join Erste Digital’s Investment & Insurance Experience team to develop modern digital solutions that improve the financial health of millions. You will work on backend services, user‑facing features and API integrations within an agile, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend applications using Java/Spring Boot and .NET Core.
• Build user‑facing functionality with React and/or Angular.
• Design, implement and integrate APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to clean, maintainable and scalable software solutions.
• Explore AI‑assisted development tools in daily work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with .NET Core.
• Experience with React and/or Angular.
• Good understanding of APIs, microservices and modern development practices.
• Interest in AI‑augmented software development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
• Collaborative, pragmatic and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
