Senior Staff Product Architect (Remote, CZ/SK)

About the role

Bloomreach builds an agentic platform for personalization, powering more than 1,400 global brands. As a Senior Staff Product Architect you own or co-own the architecture of a single product, with deliberate overlap across related products so architecture stays aligned where products meet. You are a product builder first, bringing system-level technical judgment to product definition, and you will spend 20-30% of your time hands-on coding or prototyping. The role is remote (Czechia / Slovakia), though meetings in Bratislava, Brno or Prague are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Co-define the product with product managers and UX, from early ideation through shaping, and constructively challenge PRDs with formal technical input before prioritization.
• Lead or facilitate technical shaping of initiatives, with a clear escalation path to the VPs of Product and Engineering.
• Architect AI-led product capabilities, deciding where AI belongs, how it is grounded in data and internal foundations such as the knowledge graph, and how it stays reliable, safe and cost-effective at scale.
• Keep the architectural runway open by preparing technical work ahead of the roadmap, and own key trade-offs and non-functional requirements such as scalability, reliability, security and cost.
• Drive cross-product architectural alignment through the architecture chapter, and stay hands-on with coding and prototyping using AI tooling.

Required profile

• A product builder's mindset, with a Staff+ engineering background where technical decisions shaped whole products.
• Prior management experience, ideally as a senior engineering manager, and fluency with AI on both sides: shaping products with AI/LLMs and using AI tools in your own work.
• Nice to have: experience as an engineering director or architect, and experience with marketing products (marketing automation, CDP, campaign tooling).

• Knowledge graphs, agentic systems or LLM-grounding architectures (RAG, tool use, evaluation)
