Expert IT Administrator – MCAD Tools / Process Consulting

About the role

LEONI, a global supplier of power distribution and connectivity solutions for the automotive industry, is looking for an Expert IT Administrator in Dubnica nad Váhom. The role supports the global integration and continuous development of MCAD tools and processes used in component development, combining technical system administration with process consulting, system integration and close cooperation with IT, Product Development and other business units.

Key responsibilities

• Take global responsibility for the integration and further development of tools and processes for component development.
• Administer and configure MCAD systems, especially Dassault Systèmes CATIA, Siemens NX and PTC Creo.
• Ensure the smooth operation and integration of IT systems with MCAD engineering tools, including interfaces to other systems.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and drive system optimization for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and implement standardized processes and methods to increase efficiency in the MCAD environment.
• Provide 3rd-level support for MCAD users and document the system environment and architecture.
• Collaborate with other IT departments, Product Development and business units, and design interfaces to the PLM system PTC Windchill.

Required profile

• Education in engineering, computer science or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of experience administering MCAD systems, ideally CATIA and Siemens NX.
• Experience configuring engineering applications and integrating them into an IT landscape.
• Familiarity with PLM solutions such as PTC Windchill and integrating CAD systems with PLM platforms.
• Fluent spoken and written English (minimum B2).
