Senior Software Engineer – Platform Engineering

About the role

Cast AI is building an automation platform for cloud‑native and AI infrastructure. The Platform team creates the CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling and developer environments that all internal engineering teams rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines used by every engineering team.
• Develop and maintain observability and monitoring tooling for production debugging.
• Create local development tooling that reproduces production‑like conditions on laptops.
• Identify and eliminate infrastructure friction for other teams.
• Debug complex issues spanning CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud and observability stacks.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and backlog.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean abstraction design.
• Production experience with Go or comparable systems‑programming language.
• Hands‑on platform engineering experience (CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, Kubernetes, observability, cloud).
• Experience with AI coding agents or agentic development workflows.
• Proven ability to drive complex projects end‑to‑end.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Startup mindset: adaptable, proactive and comfortable with ambiguity.
