Application Security Engineer

About the role

Enjoy Gaming is seeking an Application Security Engineer to act as the technical guardian for its games and platforms. You will dive deep into web and desktop applications, hunt game‑level vulnerabilities, and work closely with architects, developers, and studios to build more resilient systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain application security pipelines (SCA, DAST, SAST) and drive remediation of findings.
• Perform penetration tests on new platform features, internal applications, slots and live games.
• Run basic red‑team activities, including credential leak reviews and external attack surface audits.
• Review complex authentication flows and application code (primarily NestJS and .NET) for security issues.
• Act as the application‑level security expert during incident response and deliver hot‑fixes when needed.
• Prepare quarterly vulnerability scan reports for stakeholders and regulators and participate in audit meetings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an Application Security Engineer.
• Background in red teaming, penetration testing, application security, and software development.
• Ability to independently find, triage, and fix vulnerabilities in web and desktop applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.

Required skills

• Red teaming, penetration testing, application security, software development.
• Experience with message/streaming tools such as Kafka, Redis, BullMQ, PubSub.
• Proficiency with security tools: Trivy, Nessus, Acunetix, Wiz.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
• Hands‑on coding in NestJS and .NET.
