Senior Software Developer – Investment & Insurance

About the role

Join Erste Digital’s Customer Journey Tribe to design, develop and evolve investment and insurance solutions that impact millions of users. You will work on both backend and frontend technologies, taking technical ownership across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and .NET.
• Develop modern frontend applications with React and Angular.
• Architect microservice and event‑driven solutions using Kafka.
• Contribute to technical decisions, ensure maintainable code and support the team in solving complex challenges.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular and .NET (Framework & Core).
• Proven background in microservices, distributed systems and Kafka.
• Ability to take end‑to‑end responsibility and work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
