Senior SAP Consultant (HCM, SF, FI/CO, Logistics)

About the role

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, which entered the Košice region in 2006 as T-Systems Slovakia and now employs more than 3,900 people, is looking for experienced SAP consultants for its public-sector customers. The role covers the modules HCM, SF, FI/CO and logistics, and involves configuring, implementing and supporting SAP applications.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and implement client SAP modules, including customization, guidance, presentations and training
• Translate business needs into SAP ERP configuration, reports and specifications, working with order personnel
• Act as direct point of contact for troubleshooting, investigating and solving software problems and mapping client requirements
• Define systems strategy, design prototypes, test, train and implement solutions under tight deadlines
• May act as technical lead and functional project manager for company-wide SAP projects, and may be asked to write ABAP queries and dialog programs
• Advise on master data management, propose customization solutions, document changes and test new functions on the production system
• Train and mentor junior colleagues, give project status feedback and maintain strong customer service

Required profile

• Understanding of business, IT, processes and IT architecture
• Experience gathering functional and technical requirements, testing and taking part in rollouts
• Strong interpersonal skills, independent work, customer orientation and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to travel
• English and German at minimum B2 level (required for all modules except HCM)

Required skills

• Proficiency in a specific SAP module, customization and SAP reports
• Able to read ABAP code and debug system behaviour
• Preferred: SAP ERP configuration, report writer and Report Painter, SAP Implementation ASAP methodology
