Senior Full-Stack Developer (Angular / Java / Spring Boot)

About the role

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join the Falcon scrum team on its Gigabit project, which supports around 30 million German customers with fiber network access. The role is primarily backend-focused but also involves frontend work depending on the backlog. The team works in Scrum / SAFe, moving toward LeSS, in English, with international travel at least once a year and on-call release support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend microservices for ordering and commissioning fiber internet connections using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain REST APIs following Deutsche Telekom IT REST guidelines, including OpenAPI specifications, versioning and breaking change management
• Work with BPMN process engines such as Camunda 7/8 or jBPM
• Integrate systems via REST APIs and event-driven communication with Kafka or AMQ
• Implement logging, metrics, monitoring and distributed tracing
• Write unit and integration tests, review code and support automated vulnerability scanning
• Develop and maintain Angular applications and turn UI/UX designs into working frontend features

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Angular
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and change management
• Strong SQL skills, especially with PostgreSQL
• B2-level English and excellent communication, analytical and teamwork skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
