Senior Consultant – Financial Transformation (German-speaking)

About the role

PwC Advisory is seeking a Senior Consultant to drive financial transformation projects for banks, insurers and fintechs across the DACH region. You will work in a German‑speaking environment, collaborating with international teams to design, manage and deliver digital and process‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate complex transformation programmes, including scope, budget, risk and resource planning.
• Lead workshops to gather and analyse business requirements and model current and target processes using BPMN.
• Bridge business and IT by translating stakeholder needs into technical solutions and supporting delivery.
• Organise steering meetings, prepare management‑level outputs and present progress to senior stakeholders.
• Optimise organisational operations, focusing on ITSM areas such as Change, Incident and Problem management.
• Support corporate banking initiatives from solution design through implementation.
• Maintain project documentation, including RAID logs, budget tracking and decision materials.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English (C1 level) with experience in German‑speaking projects.
• Proven experience in financial services transformation, preferably within banking or insurance.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.
