Senior Business Analyst – Wealth Management & Advisory Platforms

About the role

Capco, a management consulting and software development firm working with international banks and insurance companies, is looking for a (Senior) Business Analyst to support a major global Private Banking transformation. The project introduces Aladdin Wealth as the strategic global platform for Advisory and Portfolio Construction and transforms the investment value chain, from client and relationship manager journeys to execution, reporting and servicing. The analyst translates complex business, investment and regulatory requirements into clear platform requirements and helps harmonise Advisory journeys across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Investment Advisory journeys, from service model selection, client profiling and suitability through to portfolio construction, investment proposals, execution and reporting.
• Define requirements for suitability and profiling, including risk, knowledge and experience, ESG, eligibility and investment restrictions.
• Develop requirements for portfolio construction and advisory, including asset allocation, investment models, risk considerations and client-specific restrictions.
• Support DPM / Discretionary Portfolio Management capabilities, including portfolio setup, monitoring, rebalancing and lifecycle servicing.
• Translate business requirements into BRDs, use cases, business rules, user stories and MVP backlogs, and support implementation, UAT and regional rollouts.

Required profile

• Extensive business analysis experience in private banking, wealth management, investment advisory or investment platform environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end investment advisory journeys, including client profiling, suitability and advisory processes.
• Knowledge of portfolio construction, DPM / portfolio management and related investment processes.
• Understanding of securities, investment products, investment services and execution within a wealth management environment.
• Experience in complex wealth management platform transformations, able to turn business and regulatory requirements into actionable implementation requirements.
