Senior AP Accountant (m/f)

About the role

PwC’s Shared Service Centre in Bratislava is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join a growing finance team. You will work with regional accounting experts, handling end‑to‑end AP processes and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the AP mailbox, ensuring timely follow‑up of queries and invoices.
• Maintain vendor master data and administer vendors in SAP and COUPA.
• Process purchase orders, invoicing, and approval flows through COUPA.
• Prepare payment proposals, post payments, and handle bank transactions.
• Monitor vendor ageing, resolve outstanding items, and support month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment on incoming invoices.
• Perform bank handling activities, manage mirror codes and bank guarantees.
• Support treasury functions and RBR administration.
• Maintain the AP checklist to meet controls and deadlines.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar AP accounting role.
• Fluent English (spoken and written, minimum B2 level).
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent organizational and technical abilities with a willingness to learn.
• Team‑player who can adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
