Quality Specialist – Machining Shop

About the role

Aumovio, spun off from the Continental automotive group in September 2025, is looking for a quality specialist for its machining shop in Zvolen. The company develops sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems and software for software-defined vehicles. The role covers root cause analysis, corrective actions, training and quality audits within the production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse internal and external customer complaints and identify root causes.
• Propose and implement corrective actions using 8D and A3 methods, and close internal complaints including reporting to management.
• Train operators and setters on quality and organise sorting activities and quality control within GP12.
• Carry out Layered Process Audits (LPA) and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare production for external audits and support problem solving on the shop floor through Gemba activities.
• Manage the IRR zone and coordinate non-conforming material (blocking, sorting, rework, scrap).
• Propose improvements to raise first-pass yield and reduce defects, and maintain quality documentation, supporting MSA and special tests.
• Work with production and support teams to continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, quality or related field).
• Experience in quality work in a production environment.
• Analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem solving.
• Ability to read technical and drawing documentation.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methods and familiarity with IATF and ISO standards.
• Experience with PPAP, FMEA, MSA or similar tools.
• Good command of English.

• MS Office and SAP.
• Quality tools such as 8D, A3, LPA, Gemba, PPAP, FMEA, MSA.

Salary from 1,930 EUR gross depending on experience.
