Part-time Technical Analyst Internship (Student)

About the role

Join Erste Digital to help improve the financial health of millions. As a Technical Analyst Intern you will work side‑by‑side with experienced analysts and developers, learning how complex applications, APIs and processes fit together while actively contributing to real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in analysing and structuring business and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Learn end‑to‑end solutions, from frontend and backend to APIs, interfaces and connected systems.
• Assist in analysing REST APIs, interfaces and data flows.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, UX designers and business stakeholders.
• Support testing, FAT/UAT and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain requirements and documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Use AI tools to aid analysis, documentation and quality assurance.
• Gradually take ownership of smaller analysis topics with guidance.

Required profile

• Current studies at a Slovak university in IT, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and curiosity about complex systems.
• Careful, structured and detail‑oriented working style.
• Quick comprehension and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Interest in APIs, interfaces, software development and digital solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and contribute actively.
• Interest in using AI tools daily.
• Very good German and English language skills.
