MS Server and Operations Specialist

About the role

As an MS Server and Operations Specialist you will own the architecture and operation of the Microsoft client/server environment supporting the bank’s workplace infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Kick‑start further development of the workplace infrastructure.
• Take operational accountability for the Microsoft server landscape of the workplace system.
• Coordinate providers and partners to ensure stable, secure day‑to‑day operations across Austria.
• Align with Security, Network and Backend teams to guarantee successful workplace operations.
• Contribute actively to the modernization and future‑proofing of the infrastructure.
• Optimize operations and ensure compatibility of the system architecture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of operational responsibility for a Microsoft Server environment of 5,000+ devices across multiple domains and forests.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell, C#, C++ and SQL database administration.
• Proven expertise in designing, operating and monitoring large Microsoft infrastructures.
• Experience planning, modernising and implementing Microsoft infrastructure projects.
• German and English language skills at B2 level or higher.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bratislava with occasional trips to Vienna; up to 40 % home‑office possible.
