Mechanic Technician – Hydraulic & Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic Technician to maintain and repair hydraulic presses, rubber machinery, assembly lines and other special‑purpose equipment. You will work closely with production, quality and engineering teams to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair and reassemble complex mechanical components.
• Adjust and service hydraulic, pneumatic and drive systems.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) plans and instructions.
• Participate in maintenance planning, optimizing cycles, material usage and costs.
• Manage spare parts procurement and inventory.
• Document work, record fault codes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Certificate of Apprenticeship or technical vocational training in mechanical engineering, machinery, or hydraulics.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical repairs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and spare‑parts management.
• Familiarity with TPM, Six Sigma and SAP PM is an advantage.
