Junior Structural Engineer – Land Construction

About the role

AFRY's land construction team in Bratislava is looking for a Junior Structural Engineer. The position suits graduates or people with short experience who want to grow professionally under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations with support from senior colleagues
• Contribute to design of structural systems in various materials
• Prepare the structural part of project documentation
• Work on projects of varied types of land construction
• Cooperate closely with other professional designers in the team

Required profile

• University degree in civil engineering (also suitable for fresh graduates)
• Responsible and analytical approach to solving technical problems
• Willingness to learn and to obtain authorisation in structural and dynamic engineering in the future (the original requirement for existing authorisation is waived for juniors)
• Category B driving licence

Required skills

• Knowledge of 3D building design / BIM (Revit) is an advantage; training is provided if there is no practice
