Junior GL & FA Accounting Specialist (Košice)

About the role

Holcim is looking for proactive junior professionals to join its General Ledger and Fixed Assets (GL&FA) team in Košice. You will work in an international environment, handling core accounting processes and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Run general ledger, fixed assets and IFRS 16 lease accounting for assigned entities.
• Prepare allocations, standard journals, reconciliations and interface entries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of all standard processes.
• Implement and monitor internal controls.
• Identify and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
• Strong accounting background, preferably with exposure to fixed assets and IFRS 16.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) and good communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑organized attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
