Industrial Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Manufacturing department. You will ensure timely production of prototypes, support remote sites, and act as the bridge between customer projects and manufacturing sub‑projects.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee punctual production of prototypes for internal and external customers.
• Lead manufacturing engineering activities within customer program teams.
• Support remote manufacturing and development locations on‑site.
• Maintain high levels of standardisation for material, tooling, machines, processes and documentation.
• Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Interface between customer projects and manufacturing sub‑projects such as process engineering and material development.
• Continuously propose improvements on machines, processes, testers, traceability and sensor functionality.
• Define requirement specifications for new production equipment and support smooth technology integration into mass production.

Required profile

• University degree in technical or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong organisational skills.
• High awareness of production‑relevant performance indicators, including health, safety & environment.
• Project‑management experience and at least one year of industrial plant experience.
• Experience in an automotive environment is an asset.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Basic database handling skills.
