Industrial Engineer (focused on technical processes)

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with a focus on technical processes to join our Manufacturing department. The role involves supporting new product introductions, optimizing equipment, and ensuring smooth production operations across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing production equipment for new products or processes.
• Developing processes and tools for new machines and products.
• Tracking equipment requests from assignment through delivery to internal customers within agreed timelines.
• Contributing to goals such as reducing operator health and safety risks, shortening machine setup times, lowering scrap rates, decreasing cycle times, improving machine availability, and meeting key performance indicators.
• Performing machine acceptance tests at supplier sites or in‑house.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Experience with complex, automated machines and processes.
• Project management experience and ability to lead initiatives to successful implementation.
• At least one year of hands‑on manufacturing experience in a plant environment.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a global, multi‑location setting.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
