HR Generalist

About the role

Vertiv is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its growing HR team in Slovakia. You will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, supporting both local and global initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR advice on employee relations, talent management and communications for Slovak and global teams.
• Support workforce planning by forecasting production headcount needs.
• Participate in critical business decisions and manage onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Handle employment‑law matters and assist with employee‑relations activities.
• Coach leaders to boost engagement and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Identify development opportunities and propose collaboration initiatives.
• Support performance‑management cycles, including reviews and talent discussions.
• Prepare HR reports, analyses and insights for local and global projects.
• Organise company events, employee‑engagement programs and culture‑building activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Previous experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in manufacturing or an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of Slovak labour legislation and employee‑relations practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Fluent in Slovak and English.
