Head of Human Resources

About the role

Solargis is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Head of Human Resources to lead both strategic HR initiatives and day‑to‑day operations. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, you will shape the HR function for a global team while working closely with leadership and middle managers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, COO and leadership team to align HR strategy with business goals across subsidiaries in Canada and Singapore.
• Lead workforce and succession planning, driving organizational improvements.
• Oversee contracts, onboarding documentation, payroll coordination and office agenda, maintaining close detail while managing a small HR & Office team.
• Spend substantial time engaging directly with employees and middle managers to understand strengths, gaps and development needs.
• Build and evolve the HR function hands‑on, without managing large layers of specialists.

Required profile

• Proven experience as the primary or second HR leader in a growing company.
• Ready to step into a senior leadership role with real influence over people decisions.
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Effective influencer who can work collaboratively with founders and senior leadership.
• Willing to work on‑site in Bratislava with flexible hours and occasional home office.
